Duties: Make sales and technical support visits to current and prospective customers alone and with distribution sales personnel with the intention of maintaining current business and fostering business growth.  
Requirements: B.S. Degree in an Engineering discipline, Journeyman's card or equivalent work experiences in metalworking. A clear understanding of metal working tools and the materials being machined. Excellent English verbal, written and listening skills. Ability to use: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, ACT, Internet and email communications. Must possess business ethics and a positive attitude.

Shift: Days

Location: Schaumburg IL

Duties: Develop sales plan and objectives for product line. Provide technical leadership in the promotion and application of products. Using a positive approach to problem solving and decision making - inspire the sales team. Generate product line sales by working with Regional Sales, Sales, Marketing and Engineering to develop and train a sales team capable of meeting and exceeding organizational sales and profitability goals. Provide leadership and resources to sales force so they will achieve or surpass their individual and regional goals.
Requirements: B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Journeyman Machinist, or comparable experience. 5 + yrs. experience selling/ marketing/ engineering cutting tools. Skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). Competent English written and oral communication skills for training; including the ability to train and make presentations in front of customers and internal personnel. Travel tolerance is up to 50%.

Shift: Days

Location: Schaumburg IL

Duties: Provides technical support on large, project-sized tooling programs from concept development of the customer inquiry through order placement and tool delivery. Perform complex design tasks of standard and special tooling requiring the operation of Unigraphics 3D solid modeling CAD system with responsibility for correctness of proportions, consideration of stresses, speeds, weight and other details. Interface internally with product proposal support staff, in conjunction with OEM Account Manager and/or Sales Engineers on issues of pricing, application engineering, design engineering and order processing. Interface with end-users at their plant locations and technical centers and machine tool builders to assist in the technical support of our products. Act as liaison between parent company in Germany and Komet of America on all issues relating to custom-engineered product orders.
Requirements: B.S. Degree in an Engineering discipline (ME, MT, IE) or equivalent experience. 2 years experience designing metalworking tools and working with 3D solid modeling.Must have a clear understanding of metal working tools and the materials being machined. Must have a quality orientation, be detail oriented, able to solve problems independently and in groups, have a firm sense of urgency, and an ability to work productively under time pressures. Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills.
