Overview
KOMET of AMERICA, Inc. continues with its Training Courses for 2008. We will be offering our newly organized Advanced Product Training, which will consist of classroom training, as well as hands-on training, at our facility in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Targeted Audience
The advanced product training is designed for people who wish to apply theory of entire range of the KOMET Group’s Hole Making Products to applications. The course is specially designed for existing distributor sales personnel, engineers, shop supervisors and technical specialists with advanced metal cutting experience or those who have taken KOMET Basic Product Training classes. We assume that the participants already have an extended knowledge of metal cutting operations and of the KOMET product line.

• How to recommend correct cutting parameters and insert grades
• Hands-on workshops with tooling assembly and measurements
• Selecting the correct tools based on the application
• Live tool tests on the machining center
• Plant Tour

KOMET provides this training course free of charge for Authorized Distributors. Also included are two night’s stay at the Wingate in Schaumburg and a Group Dinner provided by KOMET on Tuesday evening. A local shuttle service will be provided to/from the Wingate to KOMET. All other transportation, including travel to KOMET is the responsibility of the Distributor.
