Integrity Saw & Tool, Inc., of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, is the first KOMET SERVICE® Partner to earn ISO 9001:2008 certification, a major step for both Integrity Saw & Tool and KOMET SERVICE, as the two companies push for increasingly higher standards of quality assurance.

FOND DU LAC, WIS. (Sept 23, 2014) –
Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, based KOMET SERVICE® Partner, Integrity Saw & Tool, and KOMET of America, are pleased to announce that IST have attained ISO 9001:2008 certification. All KOMET SERVICE Partners are currently working to obtain ISO 9001:2008 certification, and Integrity Saw & Tool is the first North American Partner to complete the process. This certification, established by the International Organization for Standardization, ensures that customers receive goods of a consistently high quality, and that all regulatory requirements are met, regardless of the nature of the product or the industry. A certification with such broad applicability naturally carries with it a great degree of steps and requirements; as such, Integrity Saw & Tool’s certification shows the commitment to quality and customer assurance that they share with KOMET.

“This is certainly a big day for our Partner, Integrity Saw & Tool,” says Tom Whennen, manager, KOMET SERVICE North America, “but it is an equally big step for KOMET SERVICE as a whole, too. All of our KOMET SERVICE Partners are actively engaged in the ISO certification process, and we have a couple Partners who are on the heels of Integrity Saw & Tool; we anticipate their certifications in the next few months. This is important to all of us, as it shows our dedication to quality solid carbide tooling and customer satisfaction. Above all else, we are ultimately accountable to our customers, and ISO certification demonstrates this accountability.”

“We are very proud of this accomplishment, which we have worked towards for many months” says Paul Reetz, president of Integrity Saw & Tool. “Achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification further strengthens our company-wide commitment to our Quality Policy, which is to provide accurate and effective cutting tools promptly, to meet customer requirements, and to improve continually. Success requires more than a promise – it requires Integrity.”

Integrity Saw & Tool joined the KOMET SERVICE network in July 2013. Since then, they have been licensed to regrind and recoat KOMET solid carbide tools to original, KOMET-grade standards and to manufacture custom KOMET solid carbide tools. As always, Integrity Saw & Tool also refurbishes and manufactures custom saw blades for a variety of applications. For two decades, Integrity Saw & Tool have lived up to the namesake, providing customers with the highest quality tools and saws alongside a commitment to honest business practices. Now, ISO has recognized what IST’s customers have long known – Integrity Saw & Tool consistently delivers customer satisfaction.
